Terms of Service

These terms are a legal draft, not an attorney-reviewed final agreement. By using the beta, you agree to follow the rules below while we prepare final terms.

You own your content

Your writing is yours, and your repository remains your source of truth. You give Folder Blog only the limited permission needed to read the repository you connect, process its content, and publish and distribute the blog you ask us to host. You can revoke that permission by disconnecting the blog or requesting deletion.

Acceptable use

You may not use Folder Blog to:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
• publish malware, phishing, fraud, or abusive or exploitative material;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the service’s security; or
• misrepresent your identity or your relationship with another person.

Your account

You are responsible for access to your GitHub account and for the content in connected repositories. You must have the rights needed to publish everything you make available through Folder Blog.

Beta availability

Folder Blog is an early beta provided as available, with no uptime guarantee. Publishing may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued, and features may change without notice. Keep your own repository and backups; do not rely on Folder Blog as the only copy of your work.

Termination

You may stop using Folder Blog at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account or blog that violates these terms, creates risk for the service or other people, or must be removed for legal reasons. When practical, we will explain the action and give you a chance to export or correct the issue.

Liability and changes

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided without warranties and Folder Blog is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. We may update these draft terms as the product develops; the update date at the top will change when we do.
